Serena was founded in 2009 by Jagadish Gowda, an Industrial and Production Engineer, which was initially engaged in trading and distribution of metal powders for various applications such as Powder Metallurgy, Diamond Cutting Tools and MIM application having experience of 15 years.

In 2014 Serena Nutrition was started with a vision of manufacturing high purity Electrolytic Iron powders and Reduced Iron powders for Powder Metallurgy application which was successfully achieved.

Parallelly Serena Nutrition started exploring other markets like Food, Pharmaceuticals and Chemical industries which lead to enhance the capabilities of Serena to establish itself in the Nutrition business.
